These inequalities increase the number of out of school children and serve as a barrier to low- and middle-income countries meeting international targets in education. We have introduced AESRA (Attract, Enroll, Support, Retain, Achieve) model in order to examine the possibilities of minimising the number of out of school children and maximising the retention rate.
